Indian high Commissioner Pays Tribute to the Fallen War Heroes of Indian Peace Keeping Force in Jaffna

Indian High Commissioner Mr. Santosh Jha paid tribute to the fallen war heroes of the Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) during operations against LTTE terrorists from 1987 to 1990 in Sri Lanka at the Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) Monument, Palaly during the visit in Jaffna on 17th February 2024. The High Commissioner and the Consulate General of India to Sri Lanka in Jaffna, Mr. Shri Raakesh Natraj paid tribute to the memory of fallen IPKF war heroes placing floral wreaths at the IPKF Monument during the brief and solemn ceremony. At the end of the ceremony, The Indian High Commissioner and the Commander Security Forces Jaffna had a brief discussion.

Security Forces Headquarters - Jaffna in collaboration with the office of Consulate General of India to Sri Lanka in Jaffna, organized the event. Senior Officers, Officers and, Officials of the Consulate General of India to Sri Lanka and troops were attended the solemn ceremony.
