High Commissioner of India, H.E. Gopal Baglay along with six officials from High Commission of India in Colombo and Consulate General of India in Jaffna, Mr Shri Raakesh Natraj paid tribute to the memory of fallen IPKF war heroes placing floral wreaths at the IPKF Monument on 01st December 2023.
Representing the Commander Security Forces (Jaffna), Major General Sujeewa Hettiarachchi RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc the General Officer Commanding of the 52 Infantry Division, Major General Manada Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc participated in the event. Brigadier General Staff, Brigadier Priyantha Nawarathne RWP RSP ndu, Brigadier Admin and Quartering, Colonel Koshal Weerasinghe USP, Senior Officers, Officers and troops of Security Forces Headquarters (Jaffna) also attended the ceremony.
