With the intention of enhancing the synergy of the military and civil authorities in the area and to create a favourable environment to work in an emergency situation, troops of 523 Infantry Brigade organized a gathering of Grama Niladaris of Chavakachcheri Divisional Secretariat under the directions of General Officer Commanding 52 Infantry Division and Commander 523 Infantry Brigade with the assistance of the Commanding Officers of 11 Field Engineer Regiment and 7 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment. This paved a rear opportunity for the officials of the civil administrative mechanism to mingle freely with the troops.
33 Officials from 61 Grama Niladari divisions along with the Divisional Secretary Mrs. Usha Subalingam who participated were offered with a delicious lunch and entertained with classical music.
