Major General MPNA Muthumala USP psc, the General Officer Commanding of 51 Infantry Division, made an official visit to 14th Battalion, the Gajaba Regiment on 27 January 2025.
Upon his arrival to the Regiment, the GOC was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer. Afterwards, GOC addressed the Officers and Other Ranks of the unit, discussing key operational goals and morale-building themes. At the end, GOC planted a sapling on the camp premises in order to mark the visit.
Colonel LAR Gunaratne RSP USP IG, the Commander of 512 Infantry Brigade, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
