Major General Chandana Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc MA (IR) - General Officer Commanding 51 Infantry Division met with the Government Agent Mr. K Mahesan at Government Agent Office - Jaffna on 09 February 2022. He discussed regarding Green Agriculture and Vaccination Programme under the guidance and instructions of Major General Sujeewa Senarath Yapa RWP RSP ndu - Commander Security Forces (Jaffna).
Major General Wickramasinghe exchanged views on matters related to Green Agriculture and Vaccination Programme in order to accelerate process throughout the Jaffna peninsula and informed the availability of armed forces for support during the cordial interaction meeting. Mr. K Mahesan paid his gratitude to the Sri Lanka Army, for the effort taking to implement the Government Green Agricultural Programme and also effort taking to prevent the COVID 19 pandemic.
Assistance District Secretary - Jaffna, Commander 512 Infantry Brigade and Deputy Commissioner agrarian Service - Jaffna and Staff Officers of the Division participated for the meeting and it was held in strict accordance with health guidelines.
