During a brief ceremony organized on 12th June 2020, Commander Security Forces - Jaffna Major General Ruwan Wanigasooriya laid the foundation stone for the construction of new house for Mrs. G. Nilajini and her family in Karanawai, Jaffna.
Mr. Kumara Weerasooriya will coordinate the financial costs of material for the construction work on the request of Commander Security Forces - Jaffna. The troops of 4 Sri Lanka Singha Regiment under the supervision of commander 551 Brigade will provide much needed manpower for construction work.
General Officer Commanding 55 Division, Commanders of 551 and 553 Brigades, Senior Officers and Troops associated the Commander Security Forces - Jaffna during the ceremony which was carried out in line with social distancing best practices.
