One - month English Language Course to improve English language skills of Other Ranks serving in the Jaffna Peninsula was conducted by Security Forces Headquarters - Jaffna from 18th July 2022 to 18th August 2022. Thirty Two Other Ranks from various Regiments benefitted from this course, which covered different aspects of the language and its application. The 1st in order of merit was secured by Private De Silva APD while Cpl Jayashinha MANTB and Gnr Panagoda PHK secured the 2nd and 3rd places of the course respectively.
The termination of the course took place following a colorful Variety Show by the students on 18th August 2022. The Commander Security Forces - Jaffna, Major General Chandanda Wijayasundara RWP RSP ndu graced the Certificate Awarding Ceremony as the chief guest. Brigadier General Staff of SF HQ (J), Brigadier Admin and Quartering of HQSF (J), Staff Officers of SF (J), Commanding Officers of all battalions and troops were presented.
