A One - month Basic English Language course to improve English Language Skills of Soldiers serving in the Jaffna Peninsula was conducted by Security Forces Headquarters - Jaffna from 18th January 2022 to 18th February 2022. Thirty Five Soldiers from various regiments benefitted from this course, which covered different aspects of the language and its application. The 1st in order of merit was secured by Private Jayathunga WMP while Signal women Lakshani GR and Private Madubashani GAT secured the 2nd and 3rd places of the Course respectively.
The termination of the course took place following a colourful Variety Show by the students on February 18th February 2022. The Commander Security Forces - Jaffna, Major General Sujeewa Senarath Yapa RWP RSP ndu graced the Certificate Awarding Ceremony as the chief guest. Brigadier General Staff of SF HQ (J), Brigadier Admin and Quartering of HQ SF (J), Staff Officers of SF (J), Commanding Officers of all battalions and troops were present.
