Brigadier RPARP Rajapaksha RSP assumed duties as the Deputy General Officer Commanding,55 Infantry Division amid religious blessings and formalities on 19 October 2023.
The newly appointed Deputy General Officer Commanding,55 Infantry Division was warmly welcomed by Staff Officers of 55 Infantry Division. Afterwards, Brigadier Rohan Rajapaksha placed his signature on an official document to mark his assumption of duties, amidst chanting of 'Seth Pirith' in the presence of Senior Officers.
Then, he addressed all Officers in the Division Headquarters and set out his scope of work. Later on, he visited admin and office area of 55 Infantry Division.
