Mr.Iwan Rutjens, Deputy Ambassador of the kingdom of the Netherlands to Sri Lanka paid a courtesy visit to the Security Forces Headquarters – Jaffna on 07th February 2024.
The visiting Deputy Ambassador was warmly welcomed by the Commander Security Forces -Jaffna, Major General Chandana Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc on arrival at the office. During the cordial meeting, the Commander of Security Forces Jaffna and Mr. Iwan Rutjens exchange views on impotency of strengthening the relationship and military diplomacy to enhance the bond between two nations. Further, the discussion encompasses the civil - military cooperation, social welfare projects, development assistance and the reconciliation process in the Jaffna area. Moreover, the Deputy Ambassador agreed to extend their assistances for military in cyber security.
Mr. Iwan Rutjens signed the Visitor’s Book marking the significance of the visit to the Security Forces Headquarters - Jaffna. Moreover, in compliance with the customary formalities, mementoes were exchanged.
