The Inter Battalion Cricket Tournament of 52 Infantry Division – 2023 organized by the 523 Infantry Brigade got underway at 7 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Cricket ground in Allarai, Jaffna under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding of 52 Infantry Division, Major General YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc.
The cricket tournament was held from 14 to 19 August with the participation of 12 cricket teams. 10th (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Cricket Team became the champions beating 522 Infantry Brigade Cricket Team at finals.
Commander 523 Infantry Brigade, Colonel MBL Perera RSP USP psc, together with the Commanding Officer of 11 Field Engineer Regiment and Commanding Officer of 7 Vijabahu Infantry Regiment warmly welcomed Major General YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc as the Chief Guest to witness the grand final.
