Newly appointed Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna, Major General Chandana Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, met the District Secretary of Jaffna Mr. A. Sivabalasundranon 02nd February 2024 at GA’s Office.
During the meeting, DS appreciate the Army’s significant contribution in constructing over 700 houses for resettled families, further DS requested the military’s continued support in meeting the future essential needs. Further, he emphasized and highly appreciated the cooperation of the Army in preventing various illegal activities and conflicts in the area.
General Officer Commanding, 51 Infantry Division, Major General SWB Welagedara RSP VSV USP ndc and Senior Officers of Security Forces Headquarters – Jaffna also associated with the official meeting. At the end of the meeting, Commander presented a memento to District Secretary to mark his 1st official meeting.
