Colonel TMRB Ratnayake assumed office as the Commander 511 Brigade on Monday 23 December 2019. He placed his signature in the first official document to mark assuming duties, amidst chanting of Seth Pirith in the presence of Staff Officers.
He planted a sapling of Mango (MagniferaIndica) to mark his appointment as the Commander 511 Brigade.
Consequently, he addressed the all Officers and Other Ranks of under command to 511 Brigade.
