Army Base Hospital, Palaly, together with its staff, conducted a blood donation programme on 22 November 2025 to mark the continued commitment of the Sri Lanka Army towards humanitarian service, under the guidance of Major General KAN Rasika Kumara ndc psc, Commander Security Forces (Jaffna), with the coordination and supervision of Major (Dr) PLAA Lekamge, Commanding Officer, Army Base Hospital Palaly.
The programme was conducted with the collaboration of blood bank of Teaching Hospital, Jaffna. The primary focus of the event was to further strengthen the Army’s contribution to saving lives and supporting the healthcare needs of the Northern Province. A total of 05 Officers and 160 Other Ranks voluntarily donated their blood during the programme.
