Under the guidance and supervision of Major General WBJK Wimalaratne RWP RSP, General Officer Commanding of 51 Infantry Division, the Staff of Division organized a blood donation programme at Headquarters, 51 Infantry Division, Kopay on 04 October 2024 in coincide with the 75th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army.
The programme was conducted with the support of the medical staff at the National Blood Bank branch at Jaffna and more than 100 Officers/ Other Ranks of Division Headquarters, under command Brigades and Battalions participated in donating blood.
Dr.Shamini, Mr. T. Ravinadas and Mr. Sarangan - PHI Blood Bank, Jaffna together with Senior Officers took part in this programme.
