Having the noble objective “The education is the best investment to the future”, under the guidance of Major General RKNC Jayawardena RSP ndc, General Officer Commanding, 55 Infantry Division with the supervision of Brigadier DSS Radalage RWP RSP, Brigade Commander, 552 Infantry Brigade and Leftern Colonel AMP Amarasingha RWP USP psc, Commanding Officer, 22 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment piloted a donation programme at Kili/Nallur Mixed School Poonarynon 20January 2024 with patronage of donors, who volunteered from the Standard Charted Bank, Colombo.
A total number of 200 children of Kili/Nallur Mixed School and Selliyathivu Mixed School received gift packs comprised many substances specially contained with exercise books, stationary items, school bags, shoe pairs to each student with the sufficient quantities. The Brigade Commander of 552 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier DSS Radalage RWP RSP graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
