55 Infantry Division Renovates KN/Anaivilunthankulam G.T.M school Children’s Park

Troops of the 11th Battalion of Gajaba Regiment, under the command to the 551 Infantry Brigade of the 55 Infantry Division, carried out a meaningful community project with the generous support of regional donors from Anaivilunthankulam. The initiative involved the renovation of the children’s park at KN/Anaivilunthankulam School, aiming to create a joyful and safe space for the students. The project was carried out under the guidance of Major General W M A B Wijekoon USP ndc, the General Officer Commanding of the 55 Infantry Division and under the supervision of Colonel T B M R Kandekumbura RSP usp commander 551 infantry Brigade. The newly renovated park was officially opened to the children in a simple yet heartwarming ceremony held on 23rd July 2025.
