52 Infantry Division troops under the supervision of Security Force Headquarters (Jaffna) conducted multiple disaster-response and public-health operations across the area of responsibility on 13 December 2025.
A cleaning programme was conducted at the Athavan Pre-School in Katkovalam (South) Grama Niladhari Division. For this programme, troops of the 4 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and local residents along with the school personnel carried out cleaning activities around the school.
Due to prevailing adverse weather conditions, Ampan hospital was severely flooded, resulting in damage to the hospital premises. Troops of the 10 (Volunteer) Vijayaba Infantry Regiment, conducted a clean-up event to restore the Ampan hospital premises.
As community assistance operations continued into their ninth consecutive day, troops of the 52 Infantry Division once again demonstrated commitment and resilience in supporting the people of the Jaffna Peninsula. The Division remains focused on restoring essential services, ensuring public safety and assisting in the wider community recovery effort following recent adverse weather conditions.
