52 Infantry Division troops under the supervision of Security Force Headquarters (Jaffna) conducted multiple disaster-response and public-health operations across the area of responsibility on 07 December 2025.
4 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment troops together with local civilians, conducted a clearance operation to restore the contaminated Ellankulam Tank Bund in the Imayanam GN Division, ensuring safe water flow and improved public health conditions.
23 Gemunu Watch troops carried out well-cleaning operations at the water purification center in Vannakerny village. The effort enabled the supply of clean water to 35 families (120 individuals).
As community assistance operations extended into their fifth consecutive day, troops of the 52 Infantry Division continued to demonstrate resolute dedication to supporting the civilian population across the Jaffna Peninsula. Through well-coordinated cleaning operations, restoration work and sustained community engagement, the Division maintained its commitment to ensuring the wellbeing, safety and resilience of affected communities as regional recovery efforts progressed.
