Troops of 52 Infantry Division at PM hours on 22 July 2023 promptly acted and doused a fast Spreading fire at a Coco sheet factory located at Iththavil Palai.
The General Officer Commanding 52 Infantry Division, Major General YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc on being informed about the fire and directed the troops of 23 GW with water bowsers without allowing the fire to spread further brought it under control within couple of hours.
