52 Infantry Division Distribute Dry Ration Packs Among Needy Families in Line With The 73rd Army Day Celebration

To maintain goodwill among Army and Tamil Community, with the direction of Commander Security Forces Headquarters (Jaffna) Major General Chandana Wijayasundara RSP USP ndu and the blessings of General Officer Commanding 52 Infantry Division, Major General Sanjeewa Fernando RWP RSP ndu, Officers and Other Ranks of 52 Infantry Division took steps to organise an event for distributing ‘Dry Ration Packs’ (each worth of approximately Rs 5000/=) for seventy five (75) needy families in line with 73rd Army Day Celebration on 10th October 2022.

The event was held at the Auditorium at 52 Infantry Division, under the patronage of the General Officer Commanding, 52 Infantry Division, Major General Sanjeewa Fernando RWP RSP ndu. The generous sponsorship for this community project was provided by the General Officer Commanding of 52 Infantry Division and the troops of the 52 Infantry Division. The occasion was made elegant with several cultural dancing performances by students of J/Karambakurichchi Primary School and Varani Central College.

The troops of 52 Infantry Division, Mr N Kannadasan, the Principal - J/Karambakurichchi Primary School, Mr Raj Sudakhar – Grama Niladhari of the Eluthumadduval and the Chairman of Kodikamam Traders’ Society participated for the event.
