52 Infantry Division celebrated the 29th Anniversary on 09 September 2024 according to the military customs and traditions at the Division Headquarters in Mirisuvil.
Major General PR Pathiravithana USAWC psc, General Officer Commanding of the 52 Infantry Division was accorded a guard turnout and a colourful guard of honour as a salute. Subsequently, he planted a sapling to symbolize the occasion and posed for a group photograph.
Formerly, the General Officer Commanding had an interaction session with Officers at the Officers’ Mess. The Anniversary Day concluded with a musical night staged for all ranks. Greater number of troops in the Division were presented and enjoyed by witnessing singing and dancing.
