As per the guidance of 51 Infantry Division, the troops of 511 Infantry Brigade organized a programme to donate school items for 48 students and books to the library of J/Putthur madihai panjaseeha Primary School with the assistance of Sakya Youth Group headed by the Chief Sanganayaka of the Amarapura Sri Dharma Rakkitha Chapter in Australia, Venarable Pandith Digamadulle Wimalananda Thero.
The programme was coordinated by Colonel Thusitha Jayarathna and Civil Affairs Officer, 511 Infantry Brigade, Lieutenant Colonel NBAUK Nissanka RSP.
Venerable Shrastrapathi Pandith Hakmana Sirisumana Thero, Venerable Shrastrapathi Pandith Gabvela Vajira Thero, Incumbent Thero Jaffna Sri NagaViharaya Venerable Meegahajadure Sirivimala Thero, Overlooking Commander, 511 Infantry Brigade, Colonel WDKT Perera RWP RSP, Principals and Teachers participated for the programme.
