With the concept and guidance of Major General MPNA Muthumala USP psc, General Officer Commanding 51 Infantry Division, staff officers organized the civil servants and their families’ excursion to Jaffna from 11 to 13 October 2025 with utmost aim of enhancing cohesiveness, mutual understanding and welfare of civil servants in Headquarters 51 Infantry Division.
Further, during the civil servants and their families’ excursion, 51 Infantry Division made an arrangement to visit Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil, Jaffna Public Library, Jaffna Fort, Naga Viharaya Nagadeepa Temple, Dambakola Patuna Temple, Keeramalai Kovil and Kadurugoda Temple. Families get together was organized on 12 October 2025 to develop collaboration and family bond among their families. Various games and events conducted for the kids and gifts were distributed to all participants as a memory of the excursion. Moreover, transport, accommodation and food and beverages facilities provided by the Division under the supervision of the General Officer Commanding, 51 Infantry Division. 48 members from 08 families participated for the excursion.
