51 Infantry Division has been conducting various programmes in order to create a good relationship between the Army and public.
In this regard, 51 Infantry Division organized a volleyball match between Yogapuram Girls volleyball team and 7Sri Lanka Army women corps volleyball team on 17 October 2023 at 51 Infantry Division Headquarters Cimic Park play ground at Jaffna. Accordingly, Yogapuram Girls Vollyball team won the match.
General Officer Commanding – 51 Infantry Division, Major General Vajira Welegedera graced the match as the Chief Guest and gave away cash prizes to the Champion team.
