In alignment with the national "Clean Sri Lanka" initiative and under the direction of the Commander, Security Forces Headquarters – Jaffna, the 15th Battalion of the Sri Lanka National Guard (15 SLNG) carried out a community service programme on 08 May 2025.
As part of the programme, troops undertook the painting of buildings at the Peniel Blessing Church, situated within the battalion’s area of responsibility. The project was conducted under the close supervision of the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel S M C Samarasinghe RSP, with active participation from the battalion’s personnel.
This initiative reflects the Sri Lanka Army’s ongoing commitment to national development and civic responsibility, reinforcing civil-military cooperation while contributing positively to community welfare.
