Ranaviru Apparel (RVAPL) held Annual Inter Factory Netball Tournament at the Alawwa Ranaviru Apparel Factory premises on 12th july 2024 under the guidance and instructions of Brigadier M G A N B Mahathuwakkara RWP RSP ndc, Commandant - RVAPL.

During the Netball Tournament, Yakkala Factory team won the women’s Championship Trophy defeating their Alawwa Factory counterparts. RVAPL Alawwa became runners-up.

Brigadier M G A N B Mahathuwakkara, Commandant, RVAPL attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest in the awarding ceremony, together with the Deputy Commandant, Factory Manager, Workstudy Manager and HR Manager. The day’s Chief Guest was warmly welcomed by Colonel PWSPB Galagama RSP Factory Manager of Ranaviru Apparel Alawwa, in the company of several other Senior Officers on arrival at the entrance to grand table.

The Commandant - RVAPL, Deputy Commandant and other several key appointment holders including Factory Managers of both Factories joined the presentation of trophies and certificates to the winners. Mr. Buddika Wickramage, Head of Marketing and Activation of 4ever skin naturals (PVT) Ltd was also attended to distribute gift voucher.

These kinds of events are highly essential to uplift the of soldiers in both factories.
