RVAPL YAKKALA AND ALAWWA INTER FACTORY CRICKET AND TUG OF WAR TOURNAMENTS HELD IN UC GROUND GAMPAHA

RVAPL conducted the annual Inter Factory Cricket and Tug of War competitions at the Urban Council ground at Gampaha on 03 August, 2019 (Saturday) under the guidance and instructions of Major Genaral Manjula Manatunga, Commandant – RVAPL.

RVAPL Annual Cricket Tournament was organized and conducted under three different categories as differently able, able and women. Differently able and able teams of RVAPL Yakkala emerged as champions in the finals; defeating their Alawwa Factory counterparts’.

RANAVIRU APPAREL LEARNT MORE ON “MENTAL HEALTH AND STRESS MANAGEMENT”

Troops of the Ranaviru Apparel learnt more on ‘“Mental Health and Stress Management” on account of training day program. The session was conducted by representative of “National Council for Mental Health”, held at RVAPL camp premises on 31Julu 2019, under the supervision and instruction of Commandant - RVAPL, Major General Manjula Manathunga.

NEWLY APPOINTED FACTORY MANGER ASSUMED DUTIES

Lieutenant Colonel Arjuna Kodippili assumed duties as the new Factory Manager of Ranaviru Apparel (RVAPL) at Alawwa during a simple ceremony, held at the Factory premises in Alawwa on 24 July 2019.

Newly appointed Factory Manager placed his signature in an official document symbolizing the assumption of duties, followed by a formal troop address at the Private’s mess.

The newly-appointed Factory manger afterwards planted a tree sapling in the camp premises as a symbol of memory.

Troops together with differently able troops serving at Alawwa Factory celebrated the 9th anniversary with series of events, giving priority to religious activities, at the camp premises in Alawwa, under the guidance of Brigadier Senaka Dassanayake, Commandant – RVAPL during 18th and 19th of January 2019.
