A NEWLY CONSTRUCTED ACCOMMODATION BLOCK FOR OTHER RANKS IN ALAWWA FACTORY WAS DECLARED OPENED
Newly constructed two stories of proposed Five stories building of Ranaviru Apparel (RVAPL) Factory at Alawwa was declared opened by Major General Manjula Manathunga , the Commandant–RVAPL, recently (04th June 2019) during a simple ceremony held at the location as the first stage of overall construction plan.


Troops of fourth Engineer's Service Regiment constructed the building with the guidance of Major General Manjula Manathunga and under the supervision of Lieutenant Colonel Chaminda Thibbotuge, Factory Manager of Alawwa.


Major General Manjula Manathunga, Commandant - RVAPL who attended the occasion together with his Deputy commandant opened the two story building at the auspicious minute after cutting the ribbon.

The day's programme commenced after Major General Manjula Manathunga was warmly welcomed by Factory Manager together with several other senior officers on arrival at the Camp premises.

Senior Officers, Officers and other ranks attended the programme.
