Ranaviru Apparel staff together with differently able troops celebrated Vesak same as other buddhists community across the country marked the Vesak festival, despite inclement weather conditions.

The officers and other rankers of the Ranviru Apparel Yakkala and Alawwa have actively contributed to conduct of the vesak celebration at the camp premises, and at chandanagama in Yakkala by producing the vesak lanterns and decorations on the directions of Brigadier M G A N B Mahathuwakkara RWP RSP ndc the commandant of the RVAPL Yakkala.

The vesak lantern presented by the RVAPL Yakkala won the first place at the vesak zone in Yakkala, "Shakyasinghe vesak lantern competition 2024".
