A NEWLY CONSTRUCTED ACCOMMODATION BLOCK FOR OTHER RANKS IN ALAWWA FACTORY WAS DECLARED OPENED
Newly constructed two stories of proposed Five stories building of Ranaviru Apparel (RVAPL) Factory at Alawwa was declared opened by Major General Manjula Manathunga , the Commandant–RVAPL, recently (04th June 2019) during a simple ceremony held at the location as the first stage of overall construction plan.

RANAVIRU APPAREL ORGANISES A SPECIAL VESAK PROGRAMME
Ranaviru Apparel troops organized dhamma Sermon on account Vesak on 16 May 2019 under the direction and supervision of Commandant Ranaviru Apparel Major General Manjula Manathunga.

Differently able troops and other troops serving at the Ranaviru Apparel (RVAPL) - Yakkala took part in a Dhamma Sermon programme organized by Administrative Staff on account of "the national ceremony to officially proclaim the sacred Tripitaka as a world Heritage", under the guidance of Major General Manjula Manathunga , Commandant, got underway on 29 March 2019.

Troops together with differently able troops serving at Alawwa Factory celebrated the 9th anniversary with series of events, giving priority to religious activities, at the camp premises in Alawwa, under the guidance of Brigadier Senaka Dassanayake, Commandant – RVAPL during 18th and 19th of January 2019.

Ranaviru Apparel Yakkala Factory supported to organize Non Communicable Diseases (NCD) programm for troops of Ranaviru Apparel (RVAPL) Factory at Yakkala, under the Healthy Army Healthy Nation program. 30 members of Small Enterprises Development Division at Kaluthara paid an educational visit to Ranaviru Apparel (RVAPL) Yakkala, on 16th November 2018 with a view of learning more about the Apparel Industry and 5-S concept.

Differently able troops together with other troops serving at the Ranaviru Apparel (RVAPL) Factories at Yakkala and Alawwa took part in award giving ceremonies, organized at the respective Factory premises by the Administrative Staff of both Factories to felicitate their Second production line and First production line who emerged as the best production lines of the month, were held on 01 November 2018.

R01VAPL Commandant Opens Newly Constructed NCO’S Club
A NCO’S Club built at Ranaviru Apparel (RVAPL) Factory -2 in Alawwa, under the guidance of Brigadier Senaka Dassanayake, Commandant – RVAPL was declared opened on Thursday (20 September 2018).
Troops of 1 Engineer Service Regiment completed constructions under the supervision of Lieutenant Colonel Chaminda Thibbotuge, Factory Manager of Alawwa and its Project Officer Lieutenant Colonel Anil Dayarathne, within a short period.
