Annual Tug of War Tournament – 2023
The tug of war championship tournament – 2023 organized by administrative troops of Ranaviru Apparel (RVAPL) was held on Tuesday (04), Aprill 2023 at RVAPL camp premises.

Six (06) teams of tug of war belonging to 3 different weight categories including two women teams from both factories fought against each other for the championship trohpy in 2023.

The newly appointed Chief of Staff of Army and the former Chairman of Ranaviru Apparel Board of management, Major General Jagath Kodithuwakku made a formal visit to Ranaviru Apparel Factory at Yakkala on 16 June 2022.

The visiting Chief of Staff of Army was warmly welcomed by Brigadier Azad Izadeen, the Commandant – RVAPL together with Brigadier Amila Wasage, Deputy Commandant.
