ADMINISTRATIVE INSPECTION BY MAJ GEN E M M FERNANDO Hdmc Lsc AATO THE COMMANDER LOGISTICS COMMAND AND COLONEL COMMANDANT OF THE SRI LANKA ARMY ORDNANCE CORPS AT BASE ORDNANCE DEPOT - RAGAMA ON 13TH JUNE 2024

The Commander Logistics Command and Col Comdt of SLAOC Maj Gen E M M Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO conducted the administrative inspection at BOD - Ragama on 13th June 2024. Giving priority to military customs and traditions Commandant of BOD - Ragama Col KPNSK Kariyawasam Lsc AATO welcomed the Commander Logistics Command and Col Comdt of SLAOC at the entrance.

Featuring the traditional event, first he reviewed the guard turnout presented by the depot on the invitation of the Comdt. As per the itinerary the Commander Logistics Command and Col Comdt of SLAOC planted a sapling at the depot premises marking the visit memorable and appear for the group photograph. subsequently, Comdt apprised to the Commander Logistics Command and Col Comdt of SLAOC on the administrative aspects of the depot during the Comdt’s briefing. During the visit snr offr inspected admin office, armoury, guard room, ware houses, ammunition dump, canteen, Q stores, WOs' and Sgts' mess, ORs accn area and ORs kitchen.

During his tps address he appreciated the effort taken by Comdt and All Ranks to maintain the depot in high standard. Further snr offr shared his vision for the future aspects of training. Moreover he highlighted participation for courses, training opportunities, constant learning is vital for develop their professionalism.
