HEADQUARTERS LOGISTICS COMMAND TIED HANDS WITH LIONS CLUB TO LAUNCHED A TREE PLANTING PROJECT

life on earth would be impossible,

No rain would pour,

leaving our soils vulnerable and the air unfit for human habitation”

Under the directions of Commander HQ Log Command with the contribution of Lions Club(Panadura Branch) organized a tree planting event on 21st Sep 2023 in 501 SLEME Factory and 401 SLEME Base Workshop premises. Maj Gen SPAIMB Samarakoon Hdmc Lsc along with the Gouverneur Lion Mr Keerthi Gunawardhane District 306 A (President of the Lions Club Panadura) ceremonially declared the event and planted 300 Kumbuk plants, 300 Mee Plants, 50 Jack-Fruit Plants and 05 Coconut Plants. Senior Officers, Officers and OR s of HQ Army Log Command, 501 SLEME Factory, 401 SLEME Base Workshop and members of the Lions Club witnessed the event.
