In a compassionate initiative led by Major General E M M Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO – Commander Logistics Command, Officers and soldiers have joined hands on 11 the June 2024 to restore a revered monk monastery that suffered extensive damage from recent flood. The monastery, nestled amidst serene landscapes, has long been a spiritual sanctuary for monks and visitors alike, but the calamitous flood left its infrastructure and facilities in disarray. The Collaborative efforts led by Headquarters Logistics Command, under the supervision of Major General Menaka Fernando, not only restored a physical structure but also revitalized a spiritual sanctuary and followed by an alms giving on next day.
