IPSOTSL is a prestigious institute of Sri Lanka dedicated to    training of peacekeepers for employment in all types of UNPSO (UN   Peace Support Operations). This institute fulfils the requirement   of UNDPKO as per General Assembly resolution which outlines 'the   necessity and responsibility of every nation to train their armed forces   before any deployment under the flag of United Nations.

 

 
 
COMBAT CONVOY COMPANY PRE-DEPLOYMENT COURSE NO – 4

Combat Convoy Company Pre-deployment Course No - 4 for MINUSMA (United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali) was commenced on 08 September 2021. The course consisted with 306 students (19 x Officers and 287 x ORs) representing various regiments.

The course has designed to provide a basic knowledge on practical and theoretical aspects of United Nations. United Nations Protection of Civilians Course (UNPOC) – 02 undertaken in collaboration with the United Nations and Global Peace Operations Initiative (GPOI) commenced on 09 August 2021 and successfully completed on 13 August 2021 on the directions of the Commandant, Brigadier KPSA Fernando RWP RSP ndu and the Chief Instructor Colonel RA Samaranayake USP psc. FORCE PROTECTION COMPANY PRE-DEPLOYMENT TRAINING COURSE LEBANON (UNIFIL – 13)

Force Protection Company Pre Deployment Training Course Lebanon (UNIFIL–13) was commenced on 07 June 2021 and successfully completed on 26 July 2021. The course consisted with 228 students (20x Sri Lanka Army Officers, 03x Air Force Officers and 205 x ORs) representing various regiments.

Force Protection Company Pre-deployment Course Lebanon (UNIFIL) No 13 was commenced on 07 June 2021. The course consisted with 211 students (18 x Sri Lanka Army Officers, 03 x Air Force Officers and 193 x ORs) representing various regiments.
