34th Anniversary of the Commando Regiment was celebrated at Commando Regimental Centre Ganemulla on 15 March 2014. Pirith Pinkama was held on 13 March 2014.

The Passing out Parade of the 45th batch of the Commandos, including 4 officers and 392 soldiers took place on Saturday (21) at Uva-Kudaoya Commando Regiment Training School (CRTS) premises.
Eng Karunasena Hettiarachchi, Secretary to Defence graced as the Chief Guest at the premises at the invitation of the Commander of the Army.
