The Seva Vanitha Branch of Corps of Engineer Services was inaugurated on 10 February 1990 at the Headquarters Works Services Sri Lanka Engineers. The main objective of the Seva Vanitha CES Branch is to provide welfare facilities to the next of kin of soldiers who had sacrificed their lives for their Nation , who had gone missing in action as well as those who injured due to operational and non operational duties. Also it provides welfare facilities for soldiers those who are presently serving in the Corps.
