The Sri Lanka Armoured Corps proudly hosted a felicitation ceremony on 6 February 2025 in honour of Major General MWARC Wijesuriya RSP USP ndc, for his promotion to the rank of Major General.
The event commenced with a Guard Turnout at the main entrance, followed by a Guard of Honour at the Rock House parade ground. Major General Ruwan Wijesuriya then addressed all ranks at the auditorium, where he highlighted the significance of discipline in a soldier’s career and shared his experiences on rising through the ranks with dedication and perseverance.
The Ceremony concluded with an all-ranks tea and an interaction session, further strengthening the bonds within the Corps.
