On 1 November 2024, the Seva Vanitha Branch of the 7(V) Regiment Sri Lanka Armoured Corps, under the leadership of its president, organized a heartfelt event at the Vocational Training Foundation for Persons with Disabilities in Mahaelagamuwa, Kekirawa, where they provided a special meal for the residents. This initiative was made possible with generous support from the Armour Ladies Club and was attended by the 7(V) SLAC team leader.
Furthermore, in celebration of the Sri Lanka Army's 75th anniversary, the 7(V) Regiment SLAC handed over a newly constructed house to a deserving family in Medagama, Kekirawa, on 3 November 2024. This project was funded by Mr. Shanaka Gunasekara and his wife, and the house was officially presented during a ceremony attended by Maj Gen WMSCK Wanasingha RSP USP and other notable guests. The SLAC Seva Vanitha Branch further contributed essential items to support the family, enhancing the impact of this charitable effort.
