The Sri Lanka Armoured Corps ceremonially bade a farewell to Brigadier P N Wijesiriwardena RSP USP, who retired on 30 September 2025 after 34 years of distinguished service. The proceedings at the Home of Armour, Rock House Camp included a Guard Turnout, a Farewell Parade, a tea party and a Farewell Dinner attended by the Colonel Commandant, Major General P R Pathiravithana USAWC psc, Senior Officers, Officers and their spouses.
Brigadier Wijesiriwardena, a respected Cavalry officer was admired for his commitment, dedication, and professionalism. The Corps expressed heartfelt gratitude and extended best wishes to him and his family for the future.
