Brigadier D K R N Silva RSP USP psc assumed duties as the new Centre Commandant of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps on 25 July 2025 at the Regimental Centre, Rock House Camp. The day’s proceedings commenced with a formal Guard Turnout, followed by the official taking over of duties at his office.
After participating in several customary events, the Centre Commandant addressed the troops at the Auditorium, where he emphasized the importance of soldiering, discipline, and upholding the proud traditions of the Corps. Subsequently, he met with the Commandant ACTC and all COs to convey his command philosophy and expectations, ensuring a clear message is delivered down the chain of command.
