COMMANDER OF THE ARMY VISITS THE 4 ARMOURED REGIMENT

Lt Gen HLVM Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, Commander of the Army visited the 4 Armoured Regiment on 07 June 2024 coinciding his visit to the 22 Infantry Division area.

The Army Chief, being received by the Colonel Commandant - SLAC and Commander Security Forces West, Maj Gen SWM Fernando WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc along with the Commanding Officer posed for a historical photograph with the troops of the 4 Armoured Regiment.

After planting a sapling to mark his visit, Commander of the Army engaged in a cordial interaction with the officers and soldiers of the regiment. Commander of the Army presented a memento to the Commanding Officer and penned down his appreciation before his departure.

Commander Security Forces East Major General SA Kulatunge RWP RSP VSV USP psc, Regimental Centre Commandant - SLAC, Commander Armoured Brigade and few other senior officers attended the event.
