The Director General General Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps, Major General P R Pathiravithana USAWC psc, undertook his maiden official visit to the Armoured Brigade and 1 SLAC on 17 July 2025.
During the visit, he took part in several customary events and delivered an inspiring address to the troops at the Auditorium. He also engaged in two table discussions; one with all officers of the Armoured Brigade at the Brigade Commander’s Office, and another with the officers of 1 SLAC at the CO's Office.
These interactive sessions provided an open platform to identify and discuss practical challenges faced by officers in the line of duty, marking the visit as both meaningful and motivational.
