BRIGADIER MR HAMEEM USP ASSUMED DUTIES AS DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Brigadier MR Hameem USP assumed duties as the 11th Director of Information Technology on 02 January 2026 during a simple ceremony held at the Directorate of Information Technology.

After assuming duties, the Director addressed the all troops, highlighting the importance of discipline, teamwork, and commitment in carrying out assigned responsibilities. He also emphasized the role of Information Technology in supporting modern military operations and encouraged all ranks to perform their duties with dedication.

Sri Lanka Signal Corps extends its heartfelt congratulations to Brigadier MR Hameem USP and wishe him strength and success as he embarks on this new chapter of leadership.
