School of Signals marked its 34th anniversary on 12th October 2025 with a series of programmes including an Alms-giving, philanthropic activities and Military formalities.
The programme started with religious rituals on the evening of 6th October 2025 within the camp premises followed by an alms-giving to Maha Sanga led by the chief incumbent of Bhodhirajarama temple, Boowelikada on 7th October 2025.
On 22nd October the programme commenced with a Guard Turnout adhering to military customs followed by a glamorous parade presented to Commandant Colonel MR Hameem USP. Afterwards, the permeant staff of the school posed for a group photograph and ended the days proceedings with an all rank lunch during which the Commandant addressed the troop and also presented appreciation letters to permeant staff members who had performed exceptionally well during the year.
Moreover, a friendly cricket tournament was also organised in which officers, permenant staff and students of the ongoing courses took part building a sense of comradeship. As the final event of the anniversary celebrations, an all rank get-together was held intending to enhance the fellowship between all troops.
