A blood donation campaign organized by the Sri Lanka Signal Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SVB-SLSC) was successfully conducted on 31 October 2025 at the Regimental Headquarters, Sri Lanka Signal Corps. The initiative was arranged in collaboration with Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama, with the purpose of supporting cancer patients and others in need of life-saving blood.
The programme was held under the guidance and leadership of the President of SVB-SLSC, Mrs. Ayesha Liyanage, whose continued encouragement and commitment greatly contributed to the success of the event.
A large number of SVB-SLSC members, along with officers and soldiers of the Corps, enthusiastically took part in this noble cause. Their voluntary participation displayed the unity, care, and strong sense of duty within the Signal Corps family toward the wellbeing of society.
The Seva Vanitha Branch remains devoted to humanitarian and welfare initiatives, and this campaign marked another significant milestone in strengthening the lifesaving mission of the national healthcare system. Heartfelt gratitude is extended to all individuals and organizations who supported and contributed to this meaningful accomplishment.
