The Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps, Major General Sajith Liyanage USP nps psc, conducted an official visit to the 4th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps on 05 April 2025. He was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer with full military honors, followed by the traditional group photograph with all Officers and Other Ranks.
The visit commenced with an inspiring Troop Address, where Major General Sajith Liyanage USP nps psc emphasized the Army's core values and the fundamental principles of the Signal Corps. He highlighted the importance of maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
Following the address, the Colonel Commandant joined all ranks for a tea session, fostering comradeship and informal discussions.
The Commanding Officer then conducted a comprehensive briefing, detailing the unit's operational roles, administrative functions, and ongoing projects. Major General Liyanage highlighted the critical importance of technological advancement in enhancing the Signal Corps' capabilities and the overall professionalism of the Army.
