A New Year fair was organized by the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) on 10th April 2025 at the Gymnasium of the Army Physical Training School, Panagoda. The event aimed to support soldiers by providing a platform to purchase festive season essentials at affordable prices.
A wide variety of stalls were set up, offering items such as rice, fruits, vegetables, garments, sweets, and household goods. These stalls were organized by all Signal Regiments, the School of Signals, and Signal Brigades.
The President of the SLSC Seva Vanitha Branch, along with the Colonel Commandant, visited each stall during the event. The fair was held alongside New Year celebrations, allowing soldiers to shop for their needs while enjoying the festive atmosphere.
