SVB-SLSC VISIT TO RANAVIRU SEVANA- RAGAMA

The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SVB-SLSC), under the guidance of Mrs. Ayesha Liyanage, organized a heartfelt visit to Ranaviru Sevana, Ragama, on 04 September 2025, as a gesture of gratitude to the brave war heroes who sacrificed their well-being for the nation.

A few dedicated members of the SVB-SLSC, together with their children, took part in this meaningful occasion. For the younger participants, it was an invaluable opportunity to witness the courage and resilience of our war heroes and to learn the importance of showing appreciation for their immense sacrifices.

The event was further dignified by the participation of the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps, along with several senior officers, whose presence added great significance to the proceedings.

During the visit, the SVB-SLSC members and their families interacted warmly with the disabled soldiers, offering them encouragement and companionship. Each war hero was presented with a gift pack, followed by refreshments arranged for the residents, their caregivers, and the staff of the facility.

The program concluded on a heartfelt note, leaving behind cherished memories and a renewed sense of responsibility to honour and care for those who dedicated their lives for the freedom and security of the nation.
