Under the esteemed guidance of Mrs. Ayesha Liyanage, President of the Seva Vanitha Branch – SLSC, the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps extended vital welfare assistance to a civilian employee serving within the Signal Corps community.
The assistance was provided to support the purchase of a hearing aid for the employee, who is hearing impaired and required specialized equipment to improve communication and daily functioning. Recognizing the importance of accessibility and the impact it has on quality of life, the SVB–SLSC stepped forward to ensure he received the support needed.
A sum of LKR 153,000 was donated for this purpose, underscoring the Branch’s unwavering commitment to enhancing the wellbeing of its extended family. This contribution reflects the compassionate approach of the SVB–SLSC in addressing essential medical needs and providing meaningful support to those facing health-related challenges.
Through this initiative, the Sri Lanka Signal Corps continues to demonstrate its dedication to caring for both its personnel and civilian staff, strengthening the sense of community and solidarity within the Corps.
